FBI Thwarts Multi-Phase Terror Plot Targeting White House UFC Event

The FBI has thwarted a massive, multi-phase domestic terror plot aimed at the White House during Sunday's UFC Freedom 250 event, arresting five individuals and identifying nearly two dozen others in a nationwide network. The disruption prevented what authorities describe as a highly coordinated mass-casualty attack on the heart of the U.S. capital.[2][4]

Armed with the encrypted communications, authorities tracked several co-conspirators who had traveled to Fredericksburg, Virginia, on June 12 and 13 to make final physical preparations for the assault.
