In high-heat markets like North Texas, where summer temperatures routinely exceed 100 degrees, contractors are finding that A2L refrigerants handle heat transfer differently than legacy systems. R-32, a single-component refrigerant, offers a 10 to 12 percent higher efficiency rate than R-410A and performs better under sustained extreme temperatures.
