Ultimately, the Valiant Shield SINKEX serves as a stark physical receipt of American military intent. As Pacific Air Forces Commander Gen. Kevin B. Schneider noted following the exercise, prioritizing counter-maritime strike operations is viewed as essential to maintaining a decisive edge.
