Beau Greaves Commands PDC Women's Series Standings Despite Historic 114-Match Streak Ending

Beau Greaves is dominating the 2026 PDC Women's Series Order of Merit, standing far above the rest of the field as the season crosses its midpoint. Despite a historic disruption to her unprecedented winning streak earlier this year, the 22-year-old from Doncaster remains the overwhelming favorite to secure the top qualification spots for the 2027 PDC World Darts Championship and the Grand Slam of Darts.[1]

The Women's Series, consisting of 24 events played across six weekends, offers a £10,000 prize fund per tournament. The secondary tour has become the premier battleground for the world's best female players, with the top two on the final Order of Merit earning a coveted place at Alexandra Palace.[1]

For over a year, Greaves turned the circuit into a one-woman show. She amassed a staggering 114-match winning streak, a run of invincibility that saw her claim 17 consecutive titles before the 2026 season even began. Her dominance rewrote the record books, with her 114-game streak standing as the longest in the history of the Women's Series.

That historic run finally came to a halt during Event Five in Wigan. Fallon Sherrock, the "Queen of the Palace," produced a clinical display of heavy scoring and confident finishing to defeat Greaves 4-1 in the Last 32. Sherrock averaged a superb 102.12, reminding the darting world of the standard she can produce on the floor.

The match was a showcase of the soaring quality in the women's game. Greaves opened with a 14-dart leg, but Sherrock responded immediately with a 14-darter of her own before breaking throw with a 13-darter. Despite Greaves maintaining a three-figure average, Sherrock controlled the short-format contest to secure the statement victory.

Greaves was candid about the defeat, admitting she was "annoyed" but acknowledging her opponent's brilliance. "To be fair, Fallon was unbelievable, so I can't even say I didn't play well. I played really good. She was just magic," Greaves reflected, noting that she was lucky to even get a leg against Sherrock's 102 average.[2]

Rather than derailing her season, the loss seemed to refocus the young star. Greaves quickly bounced back, resuming her winning ways to build an insurmountable lead in the standings. Following Event 16, Greaves sat atop the Order of Merit with nearly £30,000 in prize money, more than double her closest competitor.[1]

Veteran Lisa Ashton has emerged as the primary challenger in the standings. Ashton, who claimed her 19th Women's Series title by defeating Sherrock in the Event Five final, sits comfortably in second place with over £12,000. Her consistent deep runs have put her in prime position to claim the second World Championship qualification spot.[1]

Sherrock currently occupies third place on the Order of Merit with just over £8,000. While her landmark victory over Greaves proved her peak level remains unmatched, she will need a strong finish in the remaining eight events to close the gap on Ashton and secure an automatic return to Alexandra Palace.

The growth of the Women's Series continues to elevate the standard of play across the board. With players like Vicky Pruim, Gemma Hayter, and Deta Hedman also competing for prize money and Matchplay qualification, the circuit is deeper than ever.
