Factlen coverage is produced by the Factlen editorial desk — the byline you see on every story. When an article's source list includes a "Synthesis by Factlen editorial team" entry, it marks the parts of the story that are our own work: the perspective mapping, the weighing of sources, and the separation of what is established from what is still uncertain. Everything else in the source list points at the outlets and documents the story is built on.
Every story maps the real camps on an issue — not a left/right caricature — and cites the sources behind each.
Claims map to inspectable sources; uncertainty is disclosed rather than smoothed over.
Errors are corrected under the Corrections Policy, transparently.

How the desk works
What does "synthesis" mean on Factlen?
Synthesis is the editorial work of combining multiple outlets' reporting on the same event into one structured story: identifying the distinct perspectives, attaching sources to each, extracting the key facts every side agrees on, and flagging what remains disputed or unknown. The synthesis entry in a story's source list is the desk taking responsibility for that framing.
Who is accountable for a story?
The Factlen editorial desk, operated by Fenul LLC, is accountable for every published story. Error reports go to the desk via the Contact page and are handled under the Corrections Policy. How are breaking stories held to standard?
Breaking coverage requires at least three independent outlets before a story is drafted. Explainers and original research are anchored to encyclopedic, academic, government, or primary-document sources, cited exactly like news sources.
