Czechia Sweeps Spain to Reach First Billie Jean King Cup Final Since 2018

The drought is over for the most dominant nation in modern women's team tennis. For the first time since 2018, Czechia is playing for a world title. Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova delivered a clinical 2-0 sweep over Spain in Friday's Billie Jean King Cup semifinals at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre Arena, sending the 11-time champions back to the championship tie.[1][2][4]

Captain Barbora Strycova navigated the entire semifinal without needing to deploy World No. 1 doubles player Katerina Siniakova or Top 30 singles standout Marie Bouzkova.
