The 2026 Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) League has officially reached its midpoint, and the playoff picture is coming into sharp focus. After four events—Belmar, Aspen, Miami, and a spectacular return to Las Vegas—the Palm Beach Passion have emerged as the undisputed frontrunners.[1]

The Florida-based franchise vaulted to the top of the combined AVP Cup standings following a flawless performance at Resorts World Las Vegas. The team swept all four of their matches across both the men's and women's brackets, pushing their overall record to an imposing 9-3, translating to a 75 percent win rate.[1]

The Vegas stop was a milestone for the league, marking the AVP's first event on the Las Vegas Strip in 17 years. With a hard-fought 2-1 victory over New York Nitro's Chaim Schalk and James Shaw, Crabb and Dalhausser improved to 5-1 on the season, becoming the first pair in the league to mathematically clinch a spot in the 2026 AVP League Championships in Chicago.[1]

Conversely, the New York Nitro and LA Launch are fighting for their postseason lives.
