Supertri Finalizes Jersey Roster: Yee and Wilde Renew Rivalry as Brownlee Bows Out

The board is set, the qualifiers are locked, and the richest single day in short-course triathlon is officially green-lit. Supertri has finalized its start list for Sunday’s 2026 Pro Series Final in Jersey, confirming a roster that pits the sport’s heaviest hitters against one another for a massive $800,000 prize purse.[2]

The financial gravity of the event is undeniable. The men’s and women’s champions will each walk away with $100,000, with payouts cascading ten places deep. That purse has drawn a field that reads like an Olympic final, but the final roster spots were only secured after a grueling qualification gauntlet through Austin, Blenheim Palace, and Toronto.[1][2]

On the men’s side, the headline transaction is the reunion of short-course racing’s most electric rivalry. Paris 2024 Olympic champion Alex Yee and Olympic medalist Hayden Wilde will share a start line for the first time in over a year, reigniting a duel that has defined the modern era of the sport.[1][2]

"I've been doing triathlon for over 10 years now; it's been such a big part of my life," Stephens told ITV News. "Having SuperTri on the island when it first started coming over was amazing to me; it was almost like watching the Olympics or something like that."
